MUSICAL THEATRE MELODIES – on 26th March 2024
The next Musical Theatre Melodies broadcast on Tuesday, 26th March will feature a 30th anniversary tribute to the Timothy Williams and Andrew Sabiston musical Napoleon, from the 1994 original Canadian cast highlights recording starring Jérôme Pradon and Aline Mowat, with John Devorski, Eric Donkin, Karen K. Edissi, David Keeley, Gary Krawford, Stephanie Martin, Avery Saltzman and Shawn Wright.
This will be preceded by an introduction by the show’s creators, composer Timothy Williams and lyricist Andrew Sabiston discussing the background behind the writing of the musical and its subsequent development in the intervening years*.
The broadcast will go “to air” between 9 – 11 p.m. AEDT local Melbourne time; (= 10 a.m. – 12 noon GMT in Britain; and in the US at 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. EDT in New York = 3 a.m. – 5 a.m. PDT Los Angeles time.)
N.B. The U.S. has adopted Daylight Saving time, hence the later starting times there.
